BROCOLI ROMANESCU

Tuesday 24th January 2017 – 6:00 – 7:00pm SAB 202, University of Winchester

Dr Gloria Jové Gloria Jove is a Senior Lecturer in the Faculty of Education, Psychology and Social Work at the University of Lleida, Spain, where she teaches undergraduate and postgraduate Initial Teacher Education. ‘My aim, in my work with students as future teachers, is to open minds to see that many different kinds of learning are possible and they can create learning contexts where everyone can learn. It’s necessary that we, as teacher educators, are be able to do it too. So, the seminar will cause an encounter with a fractal vegetable, Brocoli Romanescu, some concepts from the theoretical framework of Jullie Allan and her ‘Rhizomatic Wanderings’, Morin and his principles of complex non-linear thinking, my students’ proposals… and you. So, come on!!!. We will live the seminar like an experience based in Larrosa: the experience is not that which occurs, the experience is that which occurs to me.
